Hotels in Bangkok

Although there are several hotels in Pratunam itself and some excellent choices within a few minutes walk, you may consider also staying in some other parts of Bangkok as transport to and from our market is easy.

Luxury

Thailand is the home of hospitality and the luxury hotels in Bangkok are some of the most luxurious in the world, at the same time being surprisingly affordable.  Many visitors to our capital city stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok because of it's convenient location on Rajadamri Road, while just across the block is the Courtyard by Marriot which provides more affordable but still Marriot service.

Two hotels in the Capital owe their origins to their parent hotels in Hong Kong, they are the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and the Peninsular Hotel Bangkok. These two world famous hotel brands have come to Bangkok and made it their own with levels of service outdoing even their famed name sakes in China.

Meanwhile away from the river an on the important shopping and tourist road you will find Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel, while on one of the many side streets or "Soi" from Sukhumvit is The Eugenia Hotel Bangkok providing luxury and affordable prices.

Affordable Business

Meanwhile away from the main areas of the city, but still within easy striking distance of shopping and sightseeing, there are plenty of choices in the south and northern parts of the cite.  To the south the Ibis Bangkok Sathorn Hotel is a well known brand of business hotels which provides unexpected quality.

Hostels and discount accommodation

As befits a cite on the top of the list for world travel there are a wide range of choices to suit all visitors, and that includes discount accommodations such as hostels and cheap-but-clean lower star choices. Many hostel choices are available near the Ramkhamhaeng University, but these are mostly catering to local Thai students.  On Silom Road, near Lamphini Park and Wireless Road where the Embassies are located, as HQ hostel Bangkok which has excellent reviews.  While the Flapping Duck Guesthouse offers not just an interesting name but wonderful location right next to the Chao Praya River and the peaceful little Santichai Prakan Public Park and a few moments walk from the Phra Athit Express Boat Pier for a quick trip into the city center.
