Other Bangkok Markets around the city

Just across the road from Pratunam Market is the new Platinum Fashion Mall, a giant inside shopping center carrying much of the same types of material as the Pratunam Market. However at not always such good prices.

Chatuchak Weekend Market in Chatuchak district is open only at the weekends, but wide range of eating places and small stalls selling all manner of interest goods. As popular with Bangkok natives as it is with tourists this is a great place to relax and get some great bargains on a weekend.

Khlong Thom Night Market is a popular night market which is approved by TAT which is near the Chinatown of Bangkok. Also known as the torchlight market as the area is dark and on the afternoon of Saturday the until midnight people use torches to view the old and new antiques and original items.

Bobae Market - And of course our sister market at Rattanakosin.

Tha Tien Market - Also sometimes spelled Tha Tian Market, this is behind the Grand Palace near Wat Pho, on the bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Bobae Market in Rattanakosin

Bobae Market which is a sister to Pratunam! While Pratunam is the premier wholesale garment market in Bangkok Bobae has many interesting things as well.

Similar discount garment shops, but much more outdoor stalls are to be found at Bo Bae. Located on Krung Kasem Road look for the Bridges.

Bobae Tower building is where more shops are located, here small quantities are welcomed but much of the business is for Russian buyers. Both Market and the Tower open early in the morning, by 6am, but also closed by 6pm. There is no night market at Bo Bae Market.
